Just like anything else, dentures do not last forever. Dentures can brake, chip or even fall apart. The have to repairs or replace after so at least 2 years. So every 2 years you will have to see your dentist to check your dentures out, even you do not think they are broken or chipped.
Make sure you see dentist regularly, even if the dentures fits perfectly. Since you do not have teeth any more your will be changing all the time and your dentures has to change with them and since they do not do that naturally, the dentist or the lab has to do the changes for you.
Only a very few people should know that you dentures. The people that should know that you have dentures is your family (because of health reason), you and your dentist.

When your dentures need to be repaired, try not to fix them yourself. Sometimes you can cause more harm to the dentures than good.
When pricing dentures, just keep in mind, that you get what you pay for because dentures are not all made equally.
When you clean and take care of your dentures, keep in mind two things. The first one is, don't think that regular care for your dentures can be too costly. The other one is, some prescriptions that is over the counter can be harmful to your dentures.
If you do wear dentures, then you will notice that you can speak clearly and eat normal. You might be able to eat and speak better than you did before.
After receiving your dentures make sure you see your dentist regularly. Do not skip out on the dentist just because you do not want to sit though the adjustment periods. Also, most corrections can be done in one day.
